How Our Fundraisers Work

When you start a fundraiser with Beneath the Broom Tree, your organization gets its own mini store on our website. Then you select up to 4 custom products plus any other Beneath the Broom Tree products you would like to sell in your store.

Then as people make purchases from your store, we share 20% of the sale with your organization plus any extra markup you chose to add.

All products are produced and delivered as orders come in, so if the products don’t sell you don’t owe a single dime. Plus, we handle any customer service or delivery issues that may occur, so you can focus on your important mission!

Offer Your Own Custom Catholic Products

We offer offer a wide range of products that can be customized with your organization’s name and logo. Each fundraising store includes free set up for up to 4 customized products and additional custom products can be added for a $25 surcharge. Here are just a few examples of products we offer for customization. Have other ideas for products you’d like to see? Just ask!

You Control Your Earnings

Keep full control of your earnings by naming prices for the products in your store. We set a minimum price for each product that includes all production and shipping costs. From there, it’s up to you how much you mark up.

Sell In Person, Too

Want to sell your custom products in person? We can help with that, too. Just tell us what you need, and we can give you a bulk discount with no order minimums.

Fundraiser FAQs

How much can my organization earn from a fundraiser?

Earnings are based on 20% of the minimum sale price plus any markup you would like to add to the products in your store. Sales tax is not included in this calculation. Your actual earnings will vary based on the participation of your organization.

How will my organization be paid?

We can pay your organization by PayPal, bank transfer, or check. As a Catholic fundraiser partner, you’ll have access to a secure portal on our website to enter your preferred payment details and to check on your current sales. The minimum automatic payment threshold is $20. If we owe you less than $20, we will wait until the following month to issue payment unless requested by your organization.

Is there a long term commitment?

No. You can close your store at any time by notifying us by email at [email protected]. After closing your fundraising store, we will issue any outstanding payments within 30 days.

We retain the rights to any designs produced for your organization, and you may not continue selling any of those designs with another vendor without written permission from Beneath the Broom Tree except items ordered from us in bulk.

Where will my Catholic fundraiser store be hosted?

Your Catholic fundraiser store will be hosted on beneaththebroomtree.com. We provide a custom heading for each page which can be linked to your parish website.

We can also set up a store that fully integrates with your parish website through our web design partners, RefinerFire Web Systems. Your basic web store is free, but additional fees may apply for a custom integration.

What products can I sell?

We offer a wide array of products including:

  • T-shirts
  • Drinkware
  • Magnets
  • Hoodies
  • Phone Cases
  • Flags
  • Ornaments

If you don’t see what you’d like listed, just ask!

How are Beneath the Broom Tree Catholic fundraisers free?

We are a small family owned and operated business. We partner with printers from around the country to put our designs on products “on demand” instead of the traditional method of bulk printing. This means that we do not need to keep expensive inventory on hand for each design, so we can offer lots of designs for relatively low cost.

When someone buys a product, we pay the printers to produce that item. Then we pay for shipping the product directly to the customer. From there we add a small markup for ourselves and another markup that goes to your organization.

We may not get rich with this business model, but it’s just as important for us to support the work of the Church through ministries like yours.
